If you, or your organisation, runs a web site via WordPress then joining the Fediverse is very easy. You simply need to install the ActivityPub Plugin, and enable it.
Appleseed is federated this way, and posts can be followed @appleseed
There are many amazing sites running WordPress which could use this route to try out what a Fediverse presence could do for them. See the WordPress Showcase for examples, and if you would like to see them on the Fediverse, let them know.
